Maternity Sessions
The sweet-spot for maternity sessions is usually after 30 weeks, but before 36 weeks in the pregnancy. We want that gorgeous belly to be on full display but not too close to the due date so that the mama-to-be is still reasonably comfortable and feeling their best.
Maternity sessions can take place at your home, or any location of your choosing. I will work with you to create the ideal look, feel and style for your session so that the final images reflect exactly who you are and what’s important to you during this incredibly exciting time in your life. I’m always happy to partners, siblings and family pets to be a part of the session as well.
Maternity sessions can be set up as an individual portrait session, or combined into a Baby’s First Year package.

Newborn Sessions
My newborn sessions take place in your home and have a lifestyle approach, as opposed staged studio shots. My captures are meant to be as natural and un-fussy as possible – just you, your family and your sweet new baby together at home. I don’t use a lot of props, equipment or elaborate posing. I do have some cute, neutral diaper covers, swaddle blankets and headbands, but prefer to use any “extras” sparingly as possible. Newborn baby are pretty much perfect just as they are, don’t you think?
Newborn sessions should ideally take place in the first 10 days of life. To book a session, contact me with your due date and we’ll target a general date/time that will be flexible. Then let me know as soon as your sweet boy or girl makes their debut and we’ll finalize a session date/time that works for everyone.
Newborn sessions typically last around 3 hours, to allow for feedings, diaper changes, mood changes and breaks for snuggles. I’m happy to include siblings, well-behaved pets and other immediate family members in the shots. Once your session is booked, I will send you a detailed guide full of extra information, tips and suggestions to help you prepare and be ready to ensure that our session is calm, happy and low-stress for everyone, especially the new mama and baby.
